I posted on Nextdoor, Facebook, and all the found pet sites, posted flyers, and scrolled through all the lost pet postings with no response, so thought I'd try here before we take her to a shelter. We already have two cats in a small house, otherwise I'd be very tempted to keep her! Recently shaved, super sweet, not microchipped/spayed, maybe 5-8 months old.

For everyone's safety, meet in a public place and never send money to strangers to recover a pet. Verify anyone who claims a pet before arranging a meeting.
