Two stray cats (Bridgeport)

Conflicted in terms of what to do with two cats that have been coming around here (near May and 32nd) for the past few days. Not sure if they belong to anyone as I haven't been able to transport them. I suspect they're strays because they've become quite friendly and vocal after only a day or two. My understanding is that no shelter would take them in as they are? I feel awful about not being able to take them in, but I also don't want to just cut them off on any help they need. If anyone knows somebody that may be missing these two, please contact me.
