Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the Terms) govern your use of the LostPetsNow.com website (the Website, we, us). By using the Website — for example by creating an account or submitting a pet alert — you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

1. What the Website does

  • Service. LostPetsNow is an online service that lets users publish and browse pet alerts — reports about lost, found, or sighted pets. It is an information and listing service only; it does not sell, ship, or deliver any physical goods.
  • Pet alert / listing. A record posted by a user describing a lost, found, or sighted pet.
  • Boost / Premium. Optional free visibility features available in the listing checkout for a stated period.

2. Accounts

Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. You may post a listing as a guest using a contact email; if you later register with that same email, your guest listings can be linked to your account.

3. Posting rules and acceptable use

When you post a listing you confirm that:

  • the information you provide (including any contact phone number) is accurate, is yours to share, and does not infringe anyone else's rights or break any applicable law;
  • you understand that contact details you submit may be shown to other visitors of the Website (for example, after they click a "Show phone" button) so they can reach you about the pet.

We may refuse to publish, or may remove, any listing that contains false information, is abusive or unlawful, infringes third-party rights, or is otherwise inconsistent with good-faith use of the Website.

4. Free publishing and visibility options

Publishing lost and found pet alerts is free. The Boost and Premium options offered in the current checkout are also free. The current listing path creates no invoice, uses no payment processor, and requires no payment card. Content and moderation rules still apply.

5. When the service is delivered

A listing and its selected free visibility options are activated after server-side checkout confirmation. A listing that requires moderation review is not forced public by checkout.

6. Refunds

The current listing flow has no charge to refund. Our Refund Policy remains available for historical payments made before the free model.

7. No guarantee of outcome

We provide a platform to publish and find pet alerts. We do not guarantee that any particular pet will be found, and we are not responsible for the conduct of third parties who contact you through a listing. We make reasonable efforts to keep the Website available but are not liable for temporary downtime caused by maintenance, hosting incidents, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

8. Privacy

We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data as set out there.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always published on this page and takes effect when posted. Continued use of the Website after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
