Help my foster get adopted - Meet Dr. Pepper!
🥤 Meet Dr. Pepper — Small Dog, Big Personality, Bigger Heart 💛 Dr. Pepper is a 3ish-year-old, 11-pound Sweetheart who’s ready to love life with his forever family! Once he feels safe, his fun, spunky side comes shining through — he started playing with toys, having zoomies, and soaking up affection. He’s playful, silly, and full of personality, but also knows how to relax and enjoy a good cuddle. He’s affectionate and loyal — a true little shadow who loves being close to his person. He’s even enjoyed playing with other gentle dogs once he’s comfortable! Dr. Pepper would do best in a calm, child-free home with a securely fenced yard. Having his own yard helps him feel safe and confident for potty breaks and playtime. He’s house trained and also uses potty pads if needed. He takes daily fluoxetine to help with confidence and continues to blossom beautifully. Dr. Pepper isn’t an adventure dog — he’s a cozy homebody who loves soft blankets, sunshine, and people who understand that the best things in life are calm and full of love. He was found severely neglected and he feels safest indoors. We have been working on going outside and he's made lots of progress. If you’re looking for a small dog with a huge heart and a dash of sass, Dr. Pepper is your guy! Dr. Pepper is a doxiepoo (daschund/poodle mix). He will need regular grooming every six to eight weeks. He's with the dachshund rescue of LA and his adoption fee is $400.
