Found cat(?)

Went to an estate sale at 418 solitude drive (Garland) today and as I was leaving there was a cat in the road that nearly got hit by a truck. It has a purple collar with a bell but there's no tag with a number to call. Definitely not just an outdoor cat, it had matted and missing fur in spots and some sort of rash or infection on part of it's face. I approached the cat by meowing at it and it instantly ran to me from its hiding place and rubbed along my legs, super people friendly. If anyone knows of a more specific community to post this in or wants to repost on Facebook please do so, I hope this cat can find its way back to its people.
