Ok Reddit, do your thing

Back in 2012 I fostered the world’s sweetest chihuahua, who at the time went by the name “Velveeta”. I’ve fostered many dogs but she was really the one who got away. She was actually adopted from an adoption fair in the Castro while I was on vacation so I never said a proper goodbye. I emailed a bit with her adopters but they didn’t really keep in touch. Over the years I’ve thought about her often and really just want to know if she had a good life. I’ve attempted to track them down but haven’t had any success; the records from that time weren’t very reliable. So here’s what I know: she was adopted in the fall of 2012 from Family Dog Rescue. I believe her adopters lived on Sutter St and they had another small dog that had been rescued from Korea or China (he had a scar on his snout from where it had been tied shut 🥺). They’d had another dog that had passed not long before. I also know they renamed her, but I don’t recall what the new name was. I hope she had a happy life; she’d had a hard one prior to that (she and her sister were found living in an abandoned car and some school kids had been feeding her), and she’d hit a good stride with us. I always felt guilty for letting her go and wished her adopters and I had kept in touch. So Reddit - does this ring a bell for anyone?? Pictures of my sweet Velveeta is attached!
