lost dog found in kern place/mission hills

Sorry if this isn’t allowed and I know this is fairly common. I’m in town visiting my mom, driving back from dinner and this guy was just walking on the street on Stanton. Found this very friendly male dog wandering on Stanton towards Wallington in the Kern Place/Mission Hills area - didn't want to leave him out in the cold and hoping someone will recognize him - he seems healthy - comfortable in the car - has a collar but no tag - Don't use messenger much but please comment if you know the owner or have any information about this dog. taking him to the vet this morning to check microchip hopefully get some answers but i leave today and she can’t house him unfortunately. Hopefully we can figure out whose dog it is and hopefully they miss him. if you all have recommendations for shelters that are friendly etc or what to do at all or if any of you could foster… thank you!
