Sky is seeking adoption🐾I found him abandoned on side of road in Orange Mound

Sky is 2 years old, neutered ✅ 39lbs, and heartworm positive but I will pay for treatment for whomever adopts him. I found him last week on the side of the road. No chip, no collar, infested with fleas, worms, and heartworm. I took him to the vet and got him neutered and all cleaned up. He’s very sweet and gets along with other dogs and cats. He will growl if they invade his food space, but huskies are vocal like that. He will require a little bit more potty training as he tries to mark his territory indoors. But I got him neutered so that behavior should fade as his hormones dissipate. In the meantime we bought reusable diaper bands for him that work great. Requirements for adoption are having a backyard and promising to walk him everyday after he’s recovered from heartworm treatment. Ideal adopter is a single person or couple that doesn’t have any other pets and can give him all the love, patience, and attention he deserves. He’s fine with other pets but seems like he’d prefer to have some humans all to himself. He’s got wisdom in his eyes and will love you deeply. Please share far and wide if you can. Thank you all. ❤️
