In need of dog foster or rescue....

My mom has been hospitalized for over a month and will likely transfer to a skilled nursing facility once discharged. Unfortunately, I don't see any reasonable scenario where she would be able to continue caring for her dog considering the circumstances. (I was going to say "for the foreseeable future," but, realistically... I don't really see her getting back to the same degree of independence she once had.) I'm in the process of looking for a permanent home but really need something more immediate if I can't find someone willing to adopt right away. So, if you can help (foster and/or adopt) or know of a rescue organization that might assist, please let me know here or via DM. I can also help out / sponsor her (vet, preventatives, food) until a permanent home is found. I just can't in good conscience send her to a shelter. About Roxie: ~3 year old female rescue mutt (likely boxer/pitt mix) Very sweet, high energy, needs lots of exercise and stimulation Big chewer (likely from under-stimulation) Has lived with my ~80-year-old mom for almost 2 years Slept in bed with her, very attentive and loyal Alert/protective (barks at strangers) but warms up quickly I would err on the side of caution and say she would likely not be good in a home with small animals/children... She really needs to be in an active household with time for exercise and would ideally be with someone experienced w/ high-energy breeds. (Last time I saw her, I struggled to keep her from gnawing on my shoelaces, so I'm not going to even begin to pretend she doesn't like gnawing on just about anything/everything.)
