Anyone able to take a stray?

I found a gorgeous husky boy outside today and posted him on a few places. Didn’t hear anything. Took him to the humane society and he is not chipped but they can’t take him in right now. MAS is closed til Monday and I am unable to take him in because I have cats. The police contacted animal control but I have no idea how long it will take for them to get him. If anyone is able to adopt him or at least take him in til you can take him to the shelter please let me know. UPDATE: stepped inside for a second to use the bathroom and when I came out he was gone. I hope he is safe :(
