Found small, white hair lost dog near mesa in SW

I found a lost dog this evening near the mesa in SW. I went around the neighborhood and asked anyone who was outside if they lost a dog. No luck. He’s a small, male, wiry-haired, white haired guy who is super friendly and a bit smelly. I think dogs normally smell? Idk. He’s in my garage right now with food, water, an XL cat bed (it’s all I had), and a pee pad. I’m taking him to Animal Humane tomorrow to see if he has a chip that can be read.
