LEASH YOUR FUCKING DOGS ASSHOLES!!!

TLDR// PSA and vent post about unleashed dogs and shitty pet owners and also maybe you can help this poor woman? 😭 I saw this on NextDoor today. Posted 4 days ago by an elderly woman. She has not responded to any comments so I do not have any other information to add. It made me so angry! This poor old woman not had a traumatic dog attack experience but she lost her baby☹️ I wanted to post here as a PSA and maybe help them find the owner they can be held financially responsible🤞🏻 This is a huge problem here! I personally have been bit by an off leash dog and dogs in my care (as a dog-sitter) have been attacked by off leash dogs! Just this spring, I watched an off leash dog barely miss biting a toddler child’s arm at the Farmers Market completely unprovoked. The owner grabbed the dog by the collar and left... still no leash. I don’t understand why it’s so difficult for people to respect others by leashing their dog? IDGAF if your dog is sweet and nice or even if they’re trained. Leash your dog in public spaces unless they’re small enough to fit in one of the dog purses lol that works too I guess. Zip it up all the way though. You know damn well your Chihuahua “Princess” is a bitey bitch! Don’t even try to pretend like shes the best ok Karen. It’s like people forget their dogs are ANIMALS and that public parks are not their living room. I am not a dog owner. I know I would not be a good dog owner. More people need to reflect and admit this before impulse “rescuing” a living creature they know nothing about beyond what TV has taught them. This is Air Buddies this is real life and in real life dogs can be wild when you least expect it. LEASH YOUR DOG. YOUR DOG IS NOT SPECIAL AND NEITHER ARE YOU. Goodnight lol
