Owner surrender due to, too Big 4/18/25 Meet Doug – Your Gentle, Loyal Companion! Doug is a sweet, sensitive soul who just needs a little patience to blossom. When first approached in his kennel, Doug was timid and unsure. But once out of the kennel and in a more relaxed environment, Doug’s true personality began to shine! 🌟He was a bit shy when first leashed, but once out, he walked with a steady pace and a moderate pull. He was unfazed by the dogs he passed along the way and perked up when he saw the play yard. Doug turned into a wiggly lovebug in the playyard. He jumped up affectionately, asked for pets, and let the runner collar and leash him with ease. He greeted other dogs politely, though initially overwhelmed by too much play. Once moved to the Gentle & Dainty Yard, Doug found his rhythm.He enjoys calm, friendly dogs and prefers gentle play styles. He warmed up quickly, engaging in play-chase and later following the handlers around for affection. Doug is happiest when he’s with people or calm canine friends. Doug would thrive with a patient, understanding family who can continue his socialization slowly and positively.
