The Good Guys Gathering- Cats/ Carpentry - the first project: Sticks and String!!😻😸

OK guys here's the first Carpentry activity!! String on a stick!!! 😺🤣 **REMINDER IT'S THIS WEEKEND: Central Studio on Saturday, May 16, 3:00PM - 6:00PM** If you're a guy who likes cats, community, and Carpentry, please come and have fun!!😁 We found a TON of paracord that can be used to make the ULTIMATE cat toy!! STRING!! But that's not all folks, oh no, we will enhance this with another cat favorite, the STICK!!! 😹 * note that this is Great for dogs as well by tying their favorite toy on the end of the string, good for shoulder PT as well😂 We are completely broke this month and hopefully people are willing to help make these meets awesome! **If people can bring a wooden dowel, the size we use is 1/2 in by 48 in, that would be great!** I'll update if anyone says they'll do an Amazon order for them. I put together an Amazon wishlist, it has some things to help our fur babies, and stray-bies. I'm making a separate post but didn't want a separate list for 2 items 🤷but there's the wooden dowels as well as face masks for dremmel or spray painting if the guys get to that GOAL: make a divot in the dowel to hold the rope securely, dremmel or carving it in Cut a length of string and use a fisherman's knot to secure to stick Spray with catnip spray if it's ordered Donate them to SCRAPS!!😻😸 Have silly fun while doing it, maybe paint the ends to match the string? **Has anyone come up with ideas for projects using old pallets?? Thoughts for the next project? Anyone have an accessible shop for bigger projects than sticks?** Ps sorry if I'm off in my text or unclear, it's been a hard week, please just ask for any needed clarification.
