Someone shot my cat

Live in the Marshall/Belt Line area of Grand Prairie. We lost a good one yesterday. This cat, we named him Whiny Butt, was perhaps the kindest and sweetest stray. We were a few weeks away from getting him fixed and making him an indoor kitty. Someone shot him with a BB gun. He’s gone now. I don’t know what else to say.
