Help identify this strange lizard!

Searching Lost Orting May 14, 2026
Hello! Florida native here, and I'm puzzled by this lizard I saw during lunchtime today! Spotted near the Mills 50/ Colonial intersection. I thought it was a green iguana or curly-tailed lizard at first but on closer inspection it is neither! It was about 8-9 inches long, big-bodied, and had the running gait of iguanas I've seen. Extremely fast. It clearly hated being spotted and ran all over the place. Wasn't a strong climber or jumper, funny enough. This was the best picture I could snap. Can one of you friendly herpetologically-inclined internet strangers help me identify this critter? Escaped pet, new invasive species, mysterious cryptid? If it's invasive, my next step is reporting it to the FWC. If it's a lost pet, I'll go to my neighborhood groups and report where I saw it! If
