Calling all cat lovers who also enjoy massages!
Hey there! Native El Pasoan, animal rescuer, and semi-retired massage therapist w/ 10 years experience here! I am super desperate to raise funds for my special needs cat, Beans, in order to get her some much needed veterinary care. Beans was rescued while doing TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) in the Northeast in October of 2021. I ended up keeping her due to her numerous congenital birth defects, including microphthalmia (she is permanently blind due to this) and a heart murmur amongst other things, like lifelong gastrointestinal issues that keep her on an expensive prescription diet as well as minor skeletal deformities. My true passion is animals (and tbh massage can be brutal on the hands + body over time) so in late 2017 I started a veterinary assistant program at a local clinic while working part-time at Massage Envy. Once I graduated from the vet program and started my clinical rotation hours I switched to the vet/animal world full-time and have been in it ever since, until a few months ago that is. Upon hearing my woes, a
