Seeking a Rescue That Will Accept a Dumped Kitty
The above kitty was dumped in my neighborhood about 3 weeks ago. I provide water and record wildlife on a game cam on my porch and noticed her and began providing food. I have attempted to find her home, checked her for a chip and have been desperately looking for a rescue that will take her. So far seven rejections and I put in her info at Saving Hope and one on Hulen last night (can’t recall the name right now). Unfortunately, she spent the weekend with a feral male last week, so is 7-9 days pregnant right now. She certainly is within the “safe spay window” and I am happy to pay for that for any organization or individual who will accept/adopt her. She is a good little girl. A little shy at first but warms up quickly. She has shown no aggression and keeps her claws and teeth to herself. She is quiet. Even her purr is quiet and I have to put my hand on her throat to even tell if she is purring. I am a very experienced cat owner, but having lost all three of my elderly kitties recently, one of whom was special needs his whole life, I am just not emotionally ready to commit to a young cat at this time. My age is also a factor. Does anyone have any suggestions for any other rescues? Or does anyone feel moved to adopt her? I really feel she needs the indoor life as well, as do all cats. Please feel free to give suggestions or message me if you are interested. Thanks for reading my novel! submitted by [comments]

Need Help Finding Lost Cat

Things have taken a turn for the worse in my life, and I have to give up my dog. Thought I'd try here before trying any less desirable options.
