The Connection: The puppy found exhausted outside the Lynnwood Detention Center (rescued by Officer Delrio)

⚠️ NEED HELP PIECING TOGETHER A RESCUE STORY – PLEASE READ! ⚠️ Hi everyone, I need the community's help to solve a heartbreaking puzzle regarding the ~1-year-old female German Shepherd puppy currently at Hawthorne Animal Control (ID: 14836). We are trying to figure out if she is the sole survivor of a tragic situation from a few weeks ago, and we need specific details to confirm. The Backstory & What We Know — Three weeks ago: Someone posted a photo of a mom German Shepherd with three puppies out on the road. (I am almost sure it’s the one on the left and that’s what the officer thought as well. That is the puppy that was rescued.) • The Rumor: We were told they were never officially rescued. Tragically, someone reported that three of them were hit by a car, but no one knew what happened to the remaining dog. • The Connection: The puppy found exhausted outside the Lynnwood Detention Center (rescued by Officer Delrio) matches the description. We are highly confident she is the missing puppy from that roadside group—meaning she might be the only one left alive. How You Can Help Us Investigate: We want to figure out if these dogs were intentionally dumped or what exactly happened. If you have any information regarding the accident, please reach out. We specifically need to know: 1. The exact date of the accident? 2. Where exactly did it happen? 3. Who hit them (or any details about the vehicle/incident)? 4. Does anyone know if Compton Animal Control took the other dogs in, and if the mom or other dogs had a microchip? 📩 PLEASE MESSAGE ME DIRECTLY: If you know anything about the date of the accident or who was involved, please send me a private message. I will put you directly in touch with the Lynnwood Animal Control Officer who rescued this sweet girl from the detention center. She will be available for adoption at Hawthorne soon. Let's work together to figure out what happened to her family! 💔🐾 Screenshots (partial) from the original posts.
