Dog Bucket-list Recommendations

Searching Found Philadelphia May 13, 2026
The past year has been a wallop of health issues with my two pups. One of my dogs (“the Big One”) had back-to-back emergencies (which he recovered from, thankfully) and I just found out that my other dog (“the Little One”) has a stomach mass that is either completely benign or is a super aggressive cancer, but it’s too early to tell which and by the time they will be able to tell at his recheck, well… So, I’m trying to make the next few weeks as special as possible, just in case, but I’m having trouble coming up with ideas of things to do around here that isn’t our usual walks in the Wiss. They are very good in public, so as long as it is pet-friendly it doesn’t have to be super remote. The only thing is that the Big One has some mobility limitations (he’s good walking on relatively flat surfaces, doesn’t have to be paved, but no rock scrambles). I would love to take them both, but I can definitely take them separately if there is something that he couldn’t do. I’m thinking anything within a ~2.5 hour drive from the city is doable. Hug your old pups extra hard for me, and picture for tax of course.
