Found cat in Pecan Springs 78723

UPDATE: took the cat to APA. They informed us that, due to the previous owner's circumstances, the cat is considered surrendered. They just did the usual checks, shots, etc., and now she's the new member of the family. Found this lovely torbie hanging out in our backyard. She is microchipped, and I've reported her to 24PetWatch, Petco Love Lost, and PawBoost. 24PetWatch said her name is Judy, and she is 3 years and 7 months old. I was also told that she was adopted from APA, so I will also report to them on Monday. I've been searching through all the lost posts and can't find the owner, so I'm concerned that either something happened to the owner or she was abandoned. I also don't think she's an outdoor cat, because she's been living in our backyard the past few days. The cat is so sweet and affectionate. She was completely calm when I picked her up and allowed me to give her belly rubs. I'm bringing her inside today, and I have a vet appointment on Monday. In the best-case scenario, we locate her pet parent, and she returns home safely. Otherwise, I will need to find her a loving home that can provide for her care and attention. I would love to keep her, but I already have three cats that take up a lot of my time. 😁
