Saginaw - Missing 200+ lbs English Mastiff (Dog is deaf) by Bailey Boswell HS.

Searching Lost Fort Worth May 13, 2026
Let me just first start off by saying this missing 7 year old male English Mastiff is not my dog, but that of a neighbor that LITERALLY was in the process of moving into their new home to find their dog having gotten out of the back fence. Deleted Owner's Contact Info as Mongo is now home! He was spotted by someone on our Nextdoor website and I rushed out. A Father & Daughter team meet up with me just as I caught on the Bailey Boswell HS Baseball field. Luckily he loved the daughter and she kept him calm as Dad and I guarded the exit points that wouldn't stay completely shut on their own. Luckily Mongo's Dad was able to come get him. Old Info I found him at the corner of Bowman Roberts and Angus and startled him since he couldn't hear me coming even though I was semi-shouting to him. After I scared him he took off down the street towards where a homeowner scared him away, when I got back to the car to go after him an amazing young man brought me a leash and pointed me towards Hereford saying he'd gone in the general direction of the Lao temple. I drove the surrounding six blocks, stopping anyone I could spot, asking about the dog but no one had spotted him but stated they'd keep an eye out. If anyone lives in the area, can you let me know if you find him? I've referred the owners to the City of Saginaw Animal Control, since we're literally on the border of Saginaw/Ft. Worth even though we're technically in Ft. Worth, and the Saginaw Texas Lost & Found Pets Facebook pages as well. Any other suggestions you have would be welcome. If you spot him he's been missing since 8/9 around 7:30AM. The owners say he's a scaredy cat so he shouldn't be agressive, but he should be hungry by this point so food may be helpful in ca
