Update on tabby cat found near Eagle Creek
About a month ago, I found a male tabby cat near Eagle Creek. He was chipped, and the company tried reaching out to the contact they had listed, but no one reached back out to them or us. After calling the company to follow up, apparently the people who registered him with the chip removed him from their profile directly after being contacted. They don’t want this sweet guy back it seems, but I unfortunately cannot keep him. He’s very kind, but my cats aren’t interested in having a new brother, and my dog isn’t good around him either. The company suggested we take him to IACS or the Humane Society, but I just feel awful since he’s such a nice guy and seems to be acclimated to a home environment. He’s a very good indoor cat, he sleeps in my bed when I don’t have my cats in the room, and he uses the litter box with no problem. I would love to keep him if I didn’t already have my guys who aren’t interested in his presence (to say the least). Does anyone have any suggestions or a need for a sweet male tabby cat who’s very housebroken? I’ve asked everyone I know to no avail. Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions!
