Found Dog

What are my options? This isn’t the first time a stray has wandered into my yard in Madison, but this dog is the first that didn’t run off when approached. I posted in FB’s Madison and Rivergate Lost and Found Pets. Still waiting for approval by the Neely’s Bend Neighbors admin (sigh). I left a message for MACC (jeez, really no walk-ins?). The Humane Association also doesn’t take drop-offs. The dog is in my garage for now, but I can’t keep him - going out of town. I’ve never lived in a town with do many irresponsible pet owners, but that’s a discussion for another day.
