Please help me find my cat!

Searching Lost Portland May 13, 2026
Sweeney went missing on Saturday. She is a mostly indoor cat who goes outside only during the day and when I am home to monitor, but on the 11th she snuck out and I didn't get home until late. She has never stayed out overnight. I am begging that nobody shame me here; the guilt and fear I feel are almost completely immobilizing me. I am desperate to find her. A friend said the reddit community dove in to support her when she was experiencing a similar crisis, and a redditor ended up finding her cat! I live on NE Hoyt Street one block south of Sandy Blvd between Providore Fine Foods and what used to be Church Bar, so that's between NE 24th and Lawrence (Lawrence would be 25th if it were a numbered street instead of a random personal pronoun.) Please keep an eye out for Sweeney, and especially if you live in the area and come across any little cat-type hiding places, will you let me know? She is very friendly, and I think not unlikely that someone took her in with the chilly rain we had that day. She was not wearing a collar, but she is chipped, and my current phone number is on file. Thank you so much for reading this tome, and for caring that Sweeney and I be reunited! I am Sweeney. I have stubby legs that still allow me to run wicked fast, and a face that is indescribably adorable and quite flat. Also I am pleasantly plump.
