Urgent Need of an Adopter or Foster for Daisy!

Searching Found Louisville May 13, 2026
Hi everyone. Previously, y'all came through in finding my foster dog Larry his forever family and now I need your help again. Daisy is a 6 year old, 60ish lbs pit-mix that is unfortunately needing to be rehomed due to her owner have to relocate and cannot bring her. Please, do not comment on the situation. There are legitimate reasons why this can happen and judgement will not help her find a home. If the owner didn't care about trying to help her as well, he wouldn't be trying to find a solution. Daisy walks great on a leash and loves going to the park, but is mostly found being a couch potato or curled up in her bed under a blanket. She gets along well with other dogs as she has spent the last 5 years going to daycare with other pups. She hasn't been around cats or kids. She is pretty treat motivated but hasn't shown any food aggression or possessive over her things. No special diet or health issues. She's been eating kibble but also gets some cheese and chicken mixed in. The owner said she can get some separation anxiety when left alone for extended time (3+ hours) but if that's the case, they put her in her crate where she has no issues. No issues with touching her feet or face. Full disclosure: I have not met Daisy and this information comes from her owner. But the pictures show she has been loved well and I'm sure this was a horrible decision to make for her owner. If anyone is interested, knows someone who might be interested, or knows a shelter or rescue that may be able to help, please message me!
