Found cat

Very sweet cat just appears in our front yard. Is burrowing itself under the ivy at this point. It is approachable and lets me pet it. Has definitely been around people before, I feel like this is someone’s cat. We have a lot of strays in my area of West Salem, but no one has ever seen this guy. It acts very lethargic and scared. Any advice on where to get it microchipped?
