FREE Microchipping Event for Dogs in Montgomery County

The Humane Society of Greater Dayton, the Animal Resource Center, and the Kettering Fire Department are hosting a special walk-in event exclusively for dogs belonging to Montgomery County residents . This event is designed to help ensure local dogs are properly licensed and permanently identified. Event Details Date: Wednesday, January 21 Time: 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM Location: 2861 Bobbie Pl., Dayton, OH 45429 Important Information: Dogs only. No cats or other animals permitted. Montgomery County residents only. Walk-in event. No appointment required. Free microchips for dogs with a valid 2026 Montgomery County dog license. If your dog is not currently licensed for 2026, you may purchase a license on site from the Animal Resource Center and still receive a free microchip. Proof of license may include a physical tag, receipt, or online confirmation. This collaborative event helps keep Montgomery County dogs safe, registered, and more likely to be reunited with their families if lost.
