One Last Appeal for Information about our Missing Cat, Purrana

Searching Lost Dayton May 13, 2026
This is my final appeal for information about our lost Purrana, who went missing 10/13/25 from Grayson Street in Kettering, 45429. The neighborhood is behind the Kroger on Stroop. We have checked out every single lead for the last 50 days. It has taken an emotional, physical, and mental toll on us, and we can't move forward with our search without a single confirmed sighting, and every lead has fizzled out. We can't spend every evening after work, and every weekend, walking and searching until the late night. Our lives have to resume and time needs to be rededicated to our families, partners, and other pets. This is heartbreaking, but at some point, you have to recognize you've done all you can, and done your very best. We still need to rule out a cat that has been reported to be in the area near Lincoln Park/The Residenz Apartments/Gardner Street/Benfield/Seranac. If anyone in that area sees a tuxedo cat fitting Purrana's description, AND can send a photograph of their face, we can finally rule this cat out, or pursue them if the photo clearly shows it is Purrana. All of my yard signs (the ones that made it thru the weather) have been moved to this area. So, neighbors who were helping me keep an eye on them, just know it was I who moved them. Purrana is a neutered male, tuxedo cat. The ONLY white ON HIS FACE is his CHIN. He has a white chest, and belly. He has two small white socks on his front feet, and two longer, less uniform white socks on his back feet. He is microchipped. The community has been absolutely spectacular in helping us search, and it has genuinely restored a lot of my faith in humanity and the concept of neighborly kindness. We appreciate every single person who called, texted or messaged, tagged us in posts, helped spread the word, and personally too
