Is this your cat? Want to adopt?

UPDATE!: I went to the shelter to check on how he was doing and if the claiming hold was up, and they told me he’s been adopted right off the bat by one of the shelter board members! This little guy is going to have a wonderful rest of his life with a person who loves him so dearly <3 Thank you all for sending messages in the comments and my DMs, offering your support and interest. It gave me a lot of hope to hear that there were so many people who cared about this kitty as much as I did. ———— Found this sweet but skinny boy in my backyard. I ended up catching him and bringing him to the shelter where they found no microchip on him. They are currently holding him for a 5 day period to see if anyone comes to claim him. Is he your lost cat? Otherwise, he will be evaluated for adoptability (which I’m sure he will be a star at, as he’s very gentle). Do you or anyone else you know want a special special boy? Edit: for those of you worried that I accidentally snatched a neighbor’s outdoor cat or a happy feral cat- this cat is rail thin (he’s fluffy so it’s hard to tell in pics) and was desperate to eat. He is shy but he’d come running when I shook some kibble. He’d spend all day and all night in my yard just meowing and meowing. He truly needed help and help is what I am getting him! He is now currently warm, safe, fed and waiting for a home with someone who loves him.
