Found a turtle on the sidewalk, are they any pet stores that will take it?

It's a female red-eared slider, the picture is just an example. She was on the sidewalk outside my complex, crawling towards the street and would have inevitably been hit by a car, or died of thirst. I left here there and walked to the store, and when I came back I saw that she had tucked herself under the tire of a pick-up. She was probably someone's pet that the kids left outside or lost. I took it in overnight because I didn't want to come outside and see a smashed turtle corpse. I know some pet stores sell these and was hoping to take it there. I owned a few of these as a kid and know how to keep them, but they're somewhat high maintenance pets if you want to take care o
