Question for TNR Folks
Hi everyone. My cats got out Tuesday night and one has not made it back home since. In the past, she has gotten out and worried us but always made it back in a few hours or when we shake treats. This time: silence. I’ve posted on Nextdoor, Pawboost, and Petco Love Lost. I’ve checked the shelters (SPCA, Front Street, Bradshaw) and they don’t have her. An employee mentioned someone might have trapped her for TNR and will release her once they realize she is already spayed. My question is, are the people who volunteer their time to trapping cats typically responsible enough to put them back where they found them? I won’t go into the melodrama of wanting to end it all if I don’t find her because most pet owners know the feeling but what are my options if someone released her somewhere far from where she was caught? I’ve included some photos in case anyone can help identify her. She’s a year old and her name is Joules. Like most cats, she will probably not let strangers approach but even information about a sighting could be helpful. Thanks in advance. submitted by [comments]
