Found injured wild pigeon, need advice

EDIT: Pidge boy was safely delivered to HAR! Thank you everyone for your input! I found this guy on the sidewalk in Mount Oliver, his wing is hurt but I can’t tell if it might be broken. There’s some blood but he’s not currently bleeding. There’s a cut or maybe a small puncture on his head, I think he was attacked by something. Can’t fly, only flaps upside down. I have him set up in a box with a towel on my porch with some birdseed and water but I can’t bring him inside because I have a cat. I left a message with Humane Animal Rescue, but I’m not sure what else I can do, and tomorrow I leave for work early in the morning. Is there anyone that can dispense some advice on how to help this poor bird out? submitted by [comments]
