Traumatized 3 year old Bubba is quite literally the saddest dog at the shelter and the shelter is trying to

My dear community, I am at a loss. I am once again pleading for help. Praying to GOD. Traumatized 3 year old Bubba is quite literally the saddest dog at the shelter and the shelter is trying to get rid of him quietly without giving him any time to adjust. I am begging for help. I got to meet and interact with him twice and I cannot let this sweet baby boy die. I can’t. SWEET BUBBA, A BEAUTIFUL BOERBOEL ONLY 3 YEARS OLD, JUST GOT HERE... AND HE’S ALREADY DUE TO DIE 💔 Bubba came into East Valley Shelter on 9/17 and was placed on the euthanasia list just 2 days later. His last day is end of day on 9/22... 😔. PLEASE CALL ASAP IF YOU CAN HELP!! Transport available. 😥His owner surrendered him, and he came in traumatized. Staff noted there was something off with the owner. 💔In his kennel, Bubba is afraid and on guard. He is not aggressive, he has never attempted to bite or lunge at anyone; he is just afraid and hides from new people until he sees that they are safe. For this reason, the lazy kennel supervisors want him to die and labeled him as “rescue only.” Meaning we need a rescue and a foster/adopter for him ASAP. It doesn’t make any sense. I don’t understand why they’re doing this to him. I got to meet him twice. The 1st time was at his kennel. He was afraid and hid in his cubby until he saw that I was nice. He came out and gently took a treat from me. He was sweet. The A.C.T. who works with & feeds him loves him, had nothing bad to say. The 2nd visit, a supervisor took him out to the solo yard for a better meet and greet. We don’t know what kind of trauma he’s endured but it has left him scarred, physically & emotionally. Despite this, he is a sweet & gentle boy, still finds it in his heart to trust people. He loves gentle folks, affection & scratches. He gave me tail wags & a smile, let me pet him, give him love. But he was scared walking thru the outdoor kennel area bc we think he was neglected & attacked by other dogs before, judging by the scars on his neck/head. The other dogs made him freeze in his tracks. We don’t know the situation, but he def is afraid of dogs & traumatized- not in an aggressive way, but in a way that leaves him frozen & wanting to hide. He shut down. I got him to keep walking bc he knew I was safe. It is heartbreaking to see that this sweet boy was given only 2 days before they decided to put him on the kill list. He hasn’t had any time to adjust to his new environment which is traumatizing for sensitive dogs. You can see how shut down he really is. It is soul crushing to see Bubba unable to enjoy things that dogs are supposed to love 💔. Bubba needs a patient & kind home... one with no dogs, no small kids, no chaos. He needs a patient person to bring hope & joy to a dog who’s never experienced such things... by taking it slow, giving him time/space to come out of his shell. When he sees that no one will hurt him ever again, he will finally have the chance to just... be a dog. Let him be the sweet baby boy that he really is. He will be your sweet bestie and stay by your side. He needs a miracle foster or adopter by 9/22 or he will not make it out alive. Call ASAP if you can help! Pls don’t let the precious boy die. He deserves a chance at a beautiful life after all he’s been through. None of this is his fault, he has done nothing wrong.
