Spay and Neuter Northwest

I just have to share how happy I was with my experience today. I had zero anxiety leaving my kittens in the care of Spay + Neuter Northwest on Portal way. I'm very anxious but the intake person there was So Patient with me dropping off and picking up. I am autistic and tend to be overwhelming sometimes with questions and I've never felt so normal asking. No eye rolls. No sighs. Just caring and patience and information. They're located on Portal Way off exit 266 which is technically a Custer exit. My pick up time was 3pm and I was very worried because school busses slowed us down to be 10 minutes late and I was sweetly told it was okay that I called, I wasn't a bother, it's okay to be a little late (and normal), they would never think I forgot my cats (a big panic), and that the worst that would happen is I would have to wait if someone dropped off or picked up before me. I arrived a whooping 9 minutes late and was told to come on in. I was told "school busses can be a lot to wait on but you made it!" And she was so kind I could have almost cried. I know people with anxiety are a lot and especially people who are autistic with anxiety and I never felt rushed or shamed which is completely new to me. I highly recommend this place. A spay was $75 per cat. Any options were no pressure, and no shame. Anything I wanted my vet to do (like chipping post-op check up) was encouraged. With Spay, vaccines, they offered treatment in case they discovered flea/tape worms (which are apparently normal because I started to panic) I accepted, they trimmed (not declawed) their nails since they are inside, and had optional cones in case they wanted to lick their incision too much.
