FKC's Cat of the Week: Cali!

Hi all! I'm a local pet photographer and volunteer with Fat Kitty City Humane Society in El Dorado Hills. On behalf of the rescue I would like to feature one wonderful cat each week who is up for adoption. This week I'm here to talk about Cali! When Cali’s mom passed away, she and her companions were left all alone. A compassionate caregiver began feeding them, but after months, the family made the decision to set them free. The caregiver, who wasn’t even a cat person, knew this would mean certain death for them, so she reached out to rescues for help. We partnered with another rescue to bring three of the five cats into safety. Cali was sweet, loving, and had so much potential, but she was overlooked for months while in foster care.
