Long shot... did anybody's kid had a quaker parrot as a classroom pet in 2019/2020?
I know this is a weird question - we just rescued a one-legged quaker parrot and don't have any information about her past. EXCEPT that she was a classroom pet and got sent home when the schools were shut down for COVID. She never ended up going back to the school and eventually wound up at a rescue. I'd really love to know her age and how she lost her leg (or whether she was born without it). Does anyone here remember their kid/neighbor/whatever talking about a parrot as a school pet around that time period? Picture for reference. Thanks in advance!!
