Misa is a sweet Chihuahua mix girl whose world was turned upside down when her family lost their home and were forced to surrender her to a crowded, high-intake shelter. Misa suffers from an undiagnosed autoimmune skin condition. Her family did everything they could to help her, but specialist care was beyond their financial means. As the shelter became overwhelmed, poor Misa found herself placed on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, Misa was rescued by A Friend In Need Small Dog Rescue, a Pittsburgh-based rescue dedicated to giving dogs like her a second chance.
