Missing community cat. HOA set out traps and won't say where they're taking them. He is friendly but just scared/skittish.

Photo of Buttons He is fixed, does have FIV. Someone moved and left him behind sadly. My cat loves him and he would greet her every morning and often join us on our walks together. I haven't seen him since last Sunday and noticed a trap set out yesterday during my walk. If anyone has any idea how to find him please let me know. I went on ASPCA and JHS but no luck still. My heart is just broken worrying that they dumped him somewhere else and he is alone now and terrified.
